Jet set to…

Yosemite

The long awaited post on my trip to Yosemite is here! There’s something about the beauty of nature that makes me want to go through hours or hiking in order to see views like this. I’ll be honest I’m not the best hiker yet. I do hope to do more hikes like this when we’re able to travel more, in order to see sights like this.

One of the easier trails we started off doing is called The boardwalk Trail through the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. This was a paved trail, great for a stroll and it is a 2 mile loop. The trees here are so beautiful ranging from 300 feet high and are about 2,000 years old.

From there you’ll find the Tunnel tree (shown below).

Main hike that we did was the hardest and it was the Four mile trail. Basically all uphill, but you’ll get to have the view of Yosemite Falls, Valley Floor, Half Dome, and Glacier. Let’s just say I should have broken into my hiking boots more. Strenuous hike, but worth the views.

Enough hiking, here we went to Tunnel View. Literally a spot for all families to drive to and take those pictures. Located right outside of Wawona Tunnel on state highway 41. You’ll get to see El Captain, Half Dome, and Bridalveil Fall.

The park overall had so many trails and hikes, and you definitely need more time to stay to explore it all. We did do other small trails and drove around the park to take some pictures. Go ahead, scroll, and enjoy the rest of the pictures below!
