Jet Set to Savannah, GA!

I finally got a chance to visit Savannah GA! So many people have told me to visit this charming city, about a 3 hour drive from Atlanta. The whole city is basically walk-able, so you're able to check out the river front area to the town square area all within walking distances. Savannah has beautiful views, great food, and a lot of historic buildings to check out.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Historic District. This was at a good price for where it was located. The hotel is right by the river front and town square, so you're able to be near all the main sight seeing attractions. In this post I want to highlight the beauty of Savannah and it's historic architecture. Enjoy!

We walked into historic square to find Forsyth Park. There you will find the beautiful white waterfall. The waterfall was actually bought from a catalogue back int he 1800s and spray painted!

The redish building on the right hand side, is called Mansion on Forsyth Park, that was built in 1888. It currently serves as the hotel's 5 star restaurant. Overall my trip to Savannah was a lot of picture taking of the amazing architecture and scenery. The plus side of all these sites, is that there are endless of food options right to next to each other.

What's also great about Savannah, that it is an open container city - meaning you can take that Wine to go and enjoy it as you're strolling around outside.

The right picture is the river front area where you can walk along viewing the sunset, or take the steam boat ride. There are also a lot of hotels along the river, if you choose to stay along there too.
